One of the original Lucky Ravens, Allie is the lead artist of the team. She handles both writing and illustration duties on both Dead Winter and Titan Garden, and provides art assets for Juno's work on Relicverse. She is the lead animator on Dead Winter's arcade game, as well as the game's mechanical system designer. She and Juno have been friends for a very long time, they've built their skillsets together and they look forward to many more years making stuff as a team.
Allie always loved drawing, scratching out little characters on sheets of scrap paper and filling her school notebooks with more art than notes. She went on to study classical painting with oil and watermedia and worked as a freelance illustrator for a little bit before she decided to make art for herself and began work on Dead Winter in early 2007. In this time she also worked as a screen printer, a custom embroiderer and a bowling alley mechanic before she committed to making art full-time, and she's been working weekends ever since. Working for yourself has its ups and downs, but working together with Juno she is hoping to build Lucky Raven into something bigger, something more than the sum of its parts.
In addition to working on Dead Winter the comic, Dead Winter the game, building Titan Garden's setting and making art assets for Relicverse, Allie also works as lead animator for an upcoming platformer called Kitsune Tails, which is expected to release in 2024. Across all these projects she has developed very good team management and coordination skills, working with a wide range of professionals with a wide range of skills and ensuring everyone's individual voice is represented in the collective work they are building together. Being able to lay out what you want to build, weigh it against what is feasible to build and adjust to what your team likes to build makes it easier to find the path forward on complex projects. Teamwork makes the dream work!
Juno has pointed out that Allie tends to draw more and more characters with bags under their eyes these days--that's probably a coincidence. That's probably fine.
